Purim Celebration
16 Mar @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Location: Sanctuary and social hall
Join us for a fun-filled celebration of Purim where we’ll retell the Purim story, sing silly songs, shake our groggers, wear our favorite costumes and nosh some hamantaschen. Our celebration begins in the sanctuary with our Purim Shpiel – A Very Frozen Purim – directed by Cantor Rachel and featuring a terrific cast of adult and student congregants. The festivities continue with a Purim carnival including games, prizes, food, fun and Purim-themed crafts and sensory activities. There will also be a “calming room” for families who need a break from the festivities. Sponsored by Temple Emanuel’s Religious School, Brotherhood and Sisterhood, and PJ Library.
