Throughout our history, Temple Emanuel has benefited from gifts supporting our General Operating Fund as well as additional funds and endowments dedicated to specific aspects of Temple life. An inscribed leaf on Temple Emanuel’s Tree of Life provides another way to commemorate a life cycle event, honor friends or family, or memorialize a loved one with an enduring tribute. Funds from gifts to the Tree of Life are directed toward Temple’s annual operating budget. The beautiful bronze tree is prominently displayed near the sanctuary in the main lobby. Copper leaves recognize gifts of $180, silver leaves recognize gifts of $360 and gold leaves recognize gifts of $540. To purchase a leaf in honor, memory or recognition of a loved one, click here.

Please consider expressing your devotion to our community and providing essential support for our congregation by including Temple Emanuel in your estate plans.

Thanks to the commitment and generosity of the wonderful Temple Emanuel community, the 100th Anniversary Campaign for the Generations raised more than $2 million. Funds will support Temple Emanuel’s long-term endowment for the future, enable needed capital improvements, and expand our lifelong learning and engagement programs. The outpouring from current and former congregants to support this campaign creates a legacy for which we can all be proud. The success of this campaign shows how important Temple Emanuel is to all of us today and for generations to come.

To honor or remember those you care about – or to express lasting appreciation to Temple Emanuel – consider purchasing beautiful bookplates for our High Holy Day prayer books. For a gift of $180, a set of two bookplates will be customized with your dedication – one for the Rosh Hashanah and one for the Yom Kippur prayer book. Your generosity will also be recognized in our donor newsletter. Click here to order bookplates by September 5 to be inserted in prayer books used during 2023 High Holy Day Services. If you miss this year’s deadline and still wish to participate, bookplate purchases may be made throughout the year.
