Temple Emanuel welcomed Michelle to our staff as our Executive Director in April, 2024. Michelle comes to us from Boston Children’s Hospital where she was a senior program coordinator in the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research. She brings hands-on experience with operations, fundraising, personnel management and community building.
Michelle earned a BS in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from UConn.
Maintaining ties to her alma matter and Jewish heritage, Michelle is a member of the board of directors of the UMass Amherst Hillel House.
Michelle believes building meaningful relationships is at the heart of what we do at Temple Emanuel, and she is committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
Jodi Goodman-Murphy, Administrative Assistant

Jodi brings to Temple Emanuel more than 20 years of experience in operations, marketing and administrative work in the Greater Boston area. She is an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional who has previously provided support in the realms of biotech, real estate and education.
Jodi graduated from Emerson College with a degree in marketing and media. She is a member of the board of directors of the Suburban North Jewish Community Center.
Jodi resides on Boston’s North Shore where she lives with her two fabulous teenage sons and enjoys the beautiful beaches the area provides.
Corinne Snyder, Bookkeeper

Corinne is a seasoned accountant with a strong foundation in finance and a relentless passion for precision. A proud graduate of Lasell College, Corinne has honed her expertise through diverse experiences, having contributed her skills to multiple CPA firms before venturing into entrepreneurship. As the founder and owner of Snyder Accounting, she has carved a niche for herself by specializing in efficient bookkeeping and pre-tax return services.
At Temple Emanuel, Corinne manages the day-to-day accounting operations of the synagogue. With an unwavering commitment to financial excellence and accuracy, she is a trusted and valued member of our administrative staff.
Kelly Christie, Facilities Manager
Kelly is responsible for the general care and maintenance of Temple’s building and grounds, and supervises our custodial staff. She takes pride in the work she and her team do to provide welcoming, clean, safe and attractive spaces for members, clergy and staff to learn, pray, work and gather. Prior to joining Temple Emanuel, she owned and operated a landscaping business for ten years.
Kelly appreciates the sense of accomplishment she feels after completing a project at our facility and enjoys responding to our preschool children’s questions about her work. Kelly has two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and travel.
