Sankalpa Intention Setting Workshop

06 Oct @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Sukkah and Social Hall
Cost: Free

New year, new intentions. Join us to discover the yogic practice of Sankalpa, a heartfelt intention rooted in ancient Vedic tradition. The program will led by Deborah Rockwell, an experienced teacher of yoga, Reiki, and Yoga Nidra training with over 20 years of practice. Unlike everyday resolutions, Sankalpa serves as a guiding principle to align with one’s deepest truth and purpose. Through thoughtful instruction and guided meditation, Rockwell will help participants explore how Sankalpa can become a powerful tool for personal growth, meditation and daily living.

Attendees will be invited to reflect inwardly, shape their own Sankalpa and integrate it into a closing meditation practice—planting the seeds for inner growth and transformation. No yoga experience is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket, journal and pen; chairs will be available for those who prefer not to sit on the floor.

In the spirit of  Sukkot, participants are also asked to bring fresh produce to donate to Lazarus House, supporting those in need during the harvest season. Sponsored by Temple Emanuel’s Sisterhood and Social Responsibility Committee. For more information, please email Amy Sebell.
